Assyafaah Mosque in Singapore
Masjid Assyafaah is the fifth mosque under Phase 3 of the Mosque Building Fund (MBF) scheme. It is prominently located at the junction between Canberra Road and Admiralty Lane at Sembawang HDB New Town. Ground breaking was held on 6th April 2002 and piling work was completed on 1 July 2002. The main building work started on 10 July 2002. The mosque was completed by February 2004. Its inauguration or Waqaf Ceremony was officiated by Mufti of Singapore Syed Isa Mohd Semait on 9th April 2004.;
