Dar Ul-Isra (DUI) Muslim Educational & Welfare Centre was established in 1989 to unify and serve the needs of the Muslim community of Cardiff. It is an independent, voluntary and non-profit organisation. It was established by a group of students who came to the UK for postgraduate studies. The original building comprised of a single storey, which accommodated a maximum of 300 people and a room for the sisters, which squeezed up to 80.;
